Service Agreement
VA Home Cleaners Corp. – Terms & Conditions
By using this website to book a service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from booking a service with us.
Booking Confirmation
Booking online does not guarantee the requested date and time. You will be contacted via email or phone with a confirmation.
To reserve your cleaning appointment, a non-refundable deposit of $70 will be applied, which will be deducted from the total cleaning price.
Cleaning Crew
We usually work in teams of two; occasionally, additional cleaners may be needed depending on the workload. While we aim to limit staff rotation, we provide cross-training to ensure quality and consistency.
All our cleaners are rigorously background-checked and held accountable to the highest standards of integrity.
Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to deny or terminate service due to safety concerns, inappropriate situations, presence of weapons, severe clutter, or lack of utilities. Cleaners may also leave if the home is unsanitary or if they feel unsafe. In such cases, the cancellation fee will apply.
Cleaning Day Preparation
Our pricing assumes that cleaners will focus exclusively on cleaning tasks. Please tidy up surfaces and floors to allow efficient access. If you prefer our cleaners to handle tidying, notify the office in advance so fees can be adjusted.

Pets
We work around pets but request limited indoor activity during service. If pets become aggressive or anxious, cleaners may leave, and cancellation fees will apply. Cleaners will not enter a house if they perceive an animal threat.
Service Fees
Quotes are based on experience but may be adjusted upon inspection. If extra time is required, we will contact you. If unreachable, cleaners may leave, and cancellation fees will apply. Rates may be reevaluated based on service time.
Payments
A $70 deposit is required to reserve your appointment. Payments must be made on the day of cleaning via cash, check, or credit card.
Refund Policy
Refunds are not provided. However, if something was missed, please contact us within 24 hours, and we will correct the issue at no additional charge.
Recurring Service Discount
Discounts apply after the first cleaning. Skipped services that reduce frequency will result in adjusted rates.
Rate Increases
Rates may change if service frequency, home condition, or household circumstances change significantly.
Lockouts
If cleaners cannot access your home, every effort will be made to contact you. If entry is not arranged within 20 minutes, service will be canceled, and a $70 lockout fee will apply.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule to avoid the $70 cancellation fee.
Security Systems
If your home has an alarm system, please provide instructions or ensure it is off. Updated codes must be shared to prevent lockout fees.
Cleaning Supplies
We provide all cleaning supplies. If you request green products or your own supplies, please inform us. We are not liable for damages caused by customer-provided products.
Items We Cannot Clean
We cannot handle mold removal, hoarding homes, or areas contaminated with bodily fluids, blood, feces, vomit, cat litter, bird cages, or urine/excretions.
Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items
Cleaners cannot climb higher than a step stool or move objects over 35 lbs. Please move heavy furniture in advance if cleaning behind is required.
Breakage/Damage & Loss Policy
Although rare, breakage may occur. Cleaners exercise reasonable care and are insured. We are not liable for damage due to normal wear, improper installation, or undisclosed valuables (artwork, collectibles, heirlooms). Report breakage/loss within 24 hours. Replacement will be attempted but is not guaranteed.
Arrival Window
Appointments are scheduled between 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. While we try to be punctual, unforeseen circumstances (traffic, weather, etc.) may cause delays of up to 45 minutes. You will be notified if this occurs.
Holidays
We do not provide service on the following holidays:
- Independence Day
 - Thanksgiving & Black Friday
 - Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
 - New Year’s Eve & New Year’s Day
 
Inclement Weather
If weather conditions prevent Nassau County schools from opening, our services will also be suspended.
Key Release
Keys are securely coded and stored. If you choose to leave keys in unsecured locations, we are not liable for loss or theft. Upon termination of service, keys will be returned within 48 hours or the next business day.
Non-Solicitation of Cleaners
Clients agree not to solicit VA Home Cleaners Corp. staff for private employment. Significant resources are invested in training and screening our cleaners.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
VA Home Cleaners Corp. reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
